Functionality Overview
Here are the plans for the machine's functionality.
- Allow user to play a variety of arcade-style games / compete for high score list
- Provide for user a convenient way to burn various Linux distributions to a cd
- Allow user to view cartoon animations (Ubergeek for example)
- Inform user about Linux / Open-Source
- Instruct user on how to interact with machine / detailed help
- (Still in alpha release phase - v0.1) Interface prototype available for viewing and comments
Hardware Overview
Here are the current plans for the machine's hardware.
- Mozilla Firefox (Kiosk Mode) web-based interface
- Operating system will be Slackware
- Giant trackball mouse for movement of cursor
- Left-handed and Right-handed compatibility for input / fire click
